In other words, through our research projects we seek to advance towards a new way of constructing buildings, generating positive impacts on the environment and the users of the buildings.
For this reason, our lines of research are divided into two large groups:
On the one hand, we investigate new healthier materials that improve the lives of citizens and that also incorporate circularity criteria to reduce the waste generated in the building process, throughout the entire life cycle of buildings.
On the other hand, we investigate constructive solutions that allow us to improve the energy efficiency of buildings, providing greater thermal and acoustic comfort and better indoor air quality that results in an improvement in the health of building users.
Our research has been funded by European, national, regional and private projects, while it has generated publications in most related media, thanks to a very active participation in different scientific fields. Well, disseminating the results of our research is one of our priority objectives, for this, we use various means such as newsletters, our website and social networks. In addition, we are working on the organization of a network on regenerative and circular building at a national and international level.
